Fine Baluch Salar Khani bag face

This very fine Salar Khani Baluch bagface displays various typical elements which, along with its fine weave, suggest attribution to the Salar Khani; these include the stepped half-elements at the top and bottom, the small rosettes with a good yellow, the central Turkmen design gul, and the use of metal thread in the end finish. Not typical of the group are the intense color, particularly the red, and the 6 crowned birds. Good wool, good condition.
